Who we are
Lay Witnesses For Christ International- UK (LWFCI-UK) is a non-profit organisation and registered Charity in the UK, operating in the London Borough of Bromley.
The purpose and overall aims of our organisation are to impact and inspire our local communities and motivate young people to fulfil their potential regardless of cultural, ethnic or religious background. We help our young people to develop their talents and potential which, in turn, helps to positively transform the community. We disseminate messages around social integration, well-being, community cohesion, education and anti-social behaviour, targeting families and disadvantaged young people in general.
We do this by reaching out with inclusive sport activities such as Football and Basketball for young people, creative social activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities, educational trips, family day outings and a support forum group for their families. Our organisational office is based in Bromley, BR1 1RY and we deliver most of our activities in Bromley, Orpington and St.Mary Cray.
We are currently providing all these activities on a weekly basis. We are serving up to 200 young people and adults through LWFCI Sports Club, Destiny Children and the family support forum which provides a free support group forum for parents and carers. We involve local communities directly in our mission as they are the direct beneficiary of our projects work where we support local people in need of our services and specially young people with SEND.
LWFCI -UK is part of LWFCI in USA and work together only during the international Olympics project which happens every 4 years but we operate independently in UK where we raise our funds in UK independently to support our local project work and our funding are to be spent on project work in UK.
